MEET JAckie Terribile
Fighting for Families, Education, and Safer Communities Across District 66
Jackie Terribile is the conservative Republican State Representative for South Carolina House District 66. She serves on the House Education Committee, including the Higher Education and Public Safety subcommittees. A mom and small-business professional, Jackie champions better schools, safer communities, and policies that help families and local businesses thrive in Fort Mill and Tega Cay.
Before her election to the House, Jackie served on the South Carolina State Board of Education representing the Sixteenth Judicial Circuit, where she worked closely with parents, teachers, and district leaders to strengthen academic standards and support classroom success. She has firsthand insight into local schools as a former substitute teacher in the Fort Mill School District and as a mom with two sons who attended public schools in the area.
Jackie brings over 15 years of experience in business and marketing. She earned a B.A. in Communications and Rhetoric from the University at Albany (SUNY) and founded a consulting company in 2014, partnering with organizations such as Syracuse University and the Jim & Juli Boeheim Foundation. Her writing has appeared on parents.com and businessinsider.com.
Known for staying close to the community, Jackie has been a visible advocate for parental rights and common-sense policy. During the pandemic, she worked to keep families informed and engaged and helped grow the York County chapter of Moms for Liberty to more than 1,000 families. She also founded The Fierce Mom Workshop, empowering mothers to advocate effectively for their kids and communities. Jackie received the Deborah Sampson Award for Innovation from Moms for Liberty National in 2022 for her broader work advancing parental rights and education.
Family is at the heart of Jackie’s public service. She and her husband met in high school, and their two sons are the purpose behind everything they do. They attend church in Tega Cay.
